"With You All the Way" is not just our tagline; it’s our north star.  "With You All the Way" is our core belief that we have the responsibility to serve our agents and to help ensure they achieve the business goals they have established for themselves; no matter how lofty those goals may first appear.

When Coldwell Banker Real Estate launched What Moves Her, we quickly saw the alignment between Coldwell Banker’s desire to inspire and support women to find their path to success with our local focus and commitment to help our agents achieve their personal goals.

So it is with great honor that we have worked to make What Moves Her a foundational element of all that we do to serve our agents.  


While many personal growth initiatives focus on activities to achieve a specific outcome, few provide the holistic approach of What Moves Her that specifically helps create a complete mindset or paradigm shift for women in real estate.


Through workshops, videos, meetings, blogs, and live streaming events, our agents will learn a new way of thinking to achieve personal goals from other very successful women (both inside and outside) of real estate.

As a leadership team, we are genuinely excited to integrate the proven business-building strategies created using our belief system of "With You All the Way" with the focused mindset development of What Moves Her.

Meet the leaders behind the CBA What Moves Her operation

Laurie Donofrio




Laurie has had a life long passion for real estate and helping people. She grew up in the business and has seen just about every type of market there is. Relocation has been her focus over her career not only because her husband was in the Air Force, but because she has experienced moving from every perspective: buyer, seller, tenant and long distance landlord. 

With so many years experience helping people realize their real estate dream, it was a natural transition to helping agents grow their business by becoming exceptional agents. Starting in 2004 as a training, and then in 2007 becoming SVP of Training, she loves working hands on with agents helping them come up with customized plans for their business. 


​Laurie believes in staying involved in the community, which was one of her highlights of moving to CBA. She actively fights for private property rights, affordable housing, and reasonable taxation. She also believes in giving back to the community, which is part of the CBA Way. 

​Laurie currently serves as President of the NC Property Rights Fund, a private property rights advocacy group. Laurie served on the Board of Directors for both the RRAR and NCAR.


Laurie is Past Chairman of the Triangle Community Coalition, was the Vice-President of Membership for the Women's Council of REALTORS®; Raleigh chapter. Past chair of the state Realtors Political Action Committee, past chair of the NC Realtors Legislative Committee and a founding member of Raleigh Regional Association of Realtor's Young Professional Network. 

Laurie has served the community as Past President of the Triangle Parents of Multiples and Committee member for Troops 318, 319 and Pack 511 for Scouts BSA. Laurie Donofrio is proud to be a REALTOR®;.

Heather Gool




With 10 years of real estate experience and 17 years of sales and marketing experience, Heather brings
hands on knowledge to her brokers to help them achieve personal success. Prior to real estate, Heather
spent 17 years working as the business manager for the sales and advertising department of a large
metro newspaper in Austin, TX. She parlayed that experience into real estate in 2012 and brings a
wealth of knowledge to assist agents with changing markets, negotiating skills and business building

Heather’s goal is to help agents identify their personal strengths, overcome obstacles and reach their
maximum potential. She is a member of our CBA Agent Development team that helps agents new to the
business, as well as experienced agents to pursue individual goals. Heather is always available to give
trustworthy advice or answer any questions agents may have. She understands every agent has their
own definition of success and works diligently to help them achieve their goals.

Heather is a native of the Triangle area growing up in the Apex/Cary area and attending North Carolina
State University majoring in Biology/Zoology. She has watched our small local towns grow over the years
and turn into one of the most desirable areas to live in the country. Heather actively participates in our
industry and is involved in the following: Women’s Council of REALTORS® NC State Liaison for 2021 and 2022, RPAC Major Investor since 2017, Triangle REALTORS® Leadership Academy – Dean Class of 2018, Graduate Class of 2015, Young Professionals Network – Chair 2018 and Member 2019-2021 and RRAR Strategic Planning Committee – 2021
